Been coming here since high school to eat good pizza and Italian food. It's a family owned restaurant that has grown into what it is today. Two stories plus a expanded full bar and another separate dining area full of video games. Great for parties, family dinner, lunch, take out. You name it. La Bella's can fit any size party. Many in Chula Vista and in the South Bay have been to La Bella's a dozen times or more.

The place is an institution on Third Avenue. The restaurant going back generations.

You can see old pictures of the founding members in the main hallway. Kind of neat to see the history and partake the same food they served back in the old days. It is consistent and distinct in taste and quality. Food that people have grown to crave. Me included. Their pizza is phenomenal. It is always a hit. Another thing that I love to eat is the full order of lasagna- hot, gooey, chewy with that perfect meat sauce.

Come for the pizza but don't forget the other menu items. They also do other dishes well. The lasagna! Support your local businesses especially the good ones. La Bella's on Third Avenue is one of the best and they have been doing it the longest.

The 2 story Italian restaurant seems to still be very popular because their prices are very reasonable. They have a full bar and many different foods to choose from. We had some spaghetti which tasted very bland. And the pizza we had was very greasy and the crust was too thick and mushy.

The customer service we got was OK, nothing special. I love pizza, and ordered a pepperoni pizza for takeout with jallepeno poppers. The pizza itself is very cheesy and the toppings are hidden under cheese. Which may startle first timers thinking their order was done incorrectly and they were mistakingly given a cheese pizza. The crust was alright, it was a pretty thick and heavy crust.

I prefer a lighter fluffier crust on my pizza. The cream cheese in the center of the popper was not as creamy and melted as I was hoping it would be. Very friendly and most helpful!

This past Sunday was a sad yet fun night for myself and family. La Bella's was where we hosted my Nephews memorial. Been going to La Bellas for decades and this was the first time using them for this kind of event.. It could not have gone any better ..

But the other day I went straight to the bar all the way to the end of the place and there were two bartenders, the guy, a big jerk and a girl very nice. I had to tell the girl to take care of me, I didn't wanted anything to do with the rude bartender. This place sucks. Staff is horrible.

Night bartenders don't care about making money and close early early even with ten people still in the bar. The owner obviously doesn't care about much. You can smell the disgusting bathroom from the restaurant and the food is crap.

I think the only reason they have business is because there really isn't much else for options. Cleanliness here is the last thing they care about, I even witnessed the cooks scratching their head and face then making pizza without washing hands or wearing gloves. The shrimp scampi sauce tastes like lime juice. Had the infamous . Crust for pizza is always hand tossed you can tell when you receive the finished materpiece. Everything is also all fresh and made to order so ita worth the wait.

I was a kid. Pizza is a good thin crust, it's family owned and operated with friendly staff. They have side dishes that are very generous portions. They also open at 8am which is great if you're craving pizza first thing in the morning. Like I am this morning. They also added on a new addition which has an arcade room with about 1.

It's also perfect for children's birthday parties. If you haven't been before it's a must try.

My Cousin lives around the corner, and whenever I come down to visit every few months, I make it a point to pick up a French Bread Pizza to- go as I'm making a beer run to post up by his fire pit. I never get to finish it myself, someone is always asking me for a piece. This place is my spot for that bomb French Bread Pizza.

Good crunch as you bite it, soft and delicious as you follow through. The cheese, pepperoni and sauce pair well with that bomb French bread. Best I've ever had.

The time I remember was about 3 years ago, and I do remember the service being a tad slow. But the pizza was bomb! The Meat Lovers had grips of meats and cheese (and grease, easily blotted off, it comes with the territory), and they obviously use premium ingredients. Not a bad taste on the pie. In resent years built additional Restaurant and game room next door to adjacent property with same menu.

Prices have always been reasonable. They try to have very good service, and usually do. All Italian dishes are like eating at grand ma Alioto's.
